July 6, 2013

Bright and early, we went out to try our hand at fishing. Joshua's first fishing experience.

Mom and Joshua thought they heard the fish the neighbor's dock and they went over to send the fish our way.

The lake was calm.

Joshua was patient... for a while... then he got curious...

The worms were pretty interesting.
This particular worm he named Hercules. Then came another terrific idea.

He lined the worms up for a race! If they were facing the wrong way, he turned them around so they were all headed the same direction for the race.

Then we headed inside, "Fishing is boring."

More water, at my Grandma's house, Joshua almost walked right into the river. He also ran through the sprinkler.

4 Generations

My boys enjoyed ribs, corn, fruit salad, and cookies!

One of the things that I didn't realized I missed about Wisconsin, was the changes in temperature. In one day there can be a 20 degree difference from the morning, afternoon, and the evening. We went for a walk almost everyday in the cool of the day.

After the boys went to bed, we played a terrific game of Blockus. It was an evening full of silliness and laughter.
