Smarty Pants

Joshua finished his first crossword puzzle. He wanted to work on it. When he finished his pride in accomplishment was awesome.

Saturday morning I was cleaning the kitchen and I hear Joshua going "oo oo oo"

"Hey bud, let's save that noise for outside."

"But mom, what letter makes the -oo sound?"

"What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to write Joshua can go to Disney world, but I don't know letter says -oo?"

Then I needed to walk over and see. This is what I found...

I was so proud.
Too smart for his own good.

And at that moment I wanted to purchase annual passes to Disney that day.

P-E-T Pet Store

We took Silas to pet smart for the 1st time. His squeals were wonderful.

Sushi Night

I love my boys. I love sushi.

Hair Wrap

After Silas pooped in the bathtub, I told Joshua he needed to take a shower. Showers up to this point have been a terror.

With the handheld sprayer I told Joshua it  was like the hose.

Suddenly showers went so bad.

Post shower he asked, "could you wrap my hair like you wrap yours?"

Fall Ball

CTK basketball tryouts were the other weekend. Michael is helping coach and I had an appointment. The boys had fun playing before practice started.
Silas chased the balls around the parking lot.

Joshua was desperate to make a basket, but there's a very good chance he has been blessed with my athletic ability.

Tantrums

The fun age of "I-have-something-to -tell-you" and. "I don't know all my words" have met one another.

With reminders that this too will pass, Silas has begun throwing tantrums.

We are working through them. Art seems to help. Painting, drawing...

Silly Silas

More school moments...
Exploring facial expressions
Kisses!!!

Home body

I'm not sure whether to be proud or a little sad.

Silas spends most of his day at school in this spot. He sits and looks at and talks to his family. During the first week of school parents were asked to make a photo collage for the toddlers to keep at eye level.

He doesn't cry or whine, but this is where  he spends his time, talking to his family.
